Outreach Liberia

Indiegogo  Liberia Project: Stop Sexual Abuse & Civil War Trauma Theatre & Social Work for Change

Amazing trip. 180 service providers got certified to facilitate in group counseling and they are now taking steps to multiply the efforts of the conference on abuse and family violence. I learned the power of prayer, trusting God to provide as I road a bus and 3 tro-tro vans to Sekyere amd found myself staying at 2 beautiful estates. I got a greater appreciation of my father’s accomplishments and how they relate to world events

I met Samuel Gibson, who runs The Liberians United Against Drug Abuse in Logantown, Monrovia; Rev Tetteh, Rev. Massaboi Zuwu and other pastors who run their organizations efficiently and with grace and unrivaled teamwork.

Linda Tugbeh and Paulina Z.S. Daitouah run the Tiff T. School with little to no books and 430 kids from 2 to 16 years. I heard often that they really need books and supplies for their schools and equipment like projectors and other technology.

The Restoration and Healing Inc Project needs funds so that Dr Lerner and the Team can go back to give a conference in addiction treatment and prevention, structured improvisation as a counseling method and literacy teacher training.
God provided while we were there.

5Lean on, trust in, and be confident in the Lord with all your heart and mind and do not rely on your own insight or understanding.

Proverbs 6In all your ways know, recognize, and acknowledge Him, and He will direct and make straight and plain your paths.

On the way back, our trip did not take us through Brussels as planned, but we had to change our trip to go through Ghana (my father’s country) It just so happened that Cynthia was going to a funeral in Kumasi ! More than coincidence.

I saw 10 people who looked exactly like my cousin George, cousin Zawadi, grand dad’s brothers, Grandmother at the Age (accent over the ‘e’) family at a funeral in the Sekyere section of

Kumasi, Ghana. Miraculous trip.
